Does it suit your lifestyle? Is there any reason not to do it?
We all have a different opinion of why we are the way we are and how we ended up with our current circumstances. Some say that someone else is resposible because they abused them, maybe you believe that your economic status was the cause, it might just be your all-round life circumstances, the other end of the scale are those that beat themselves up when they fail and believe they are screw-ups.

After reading this you will realise that your circumstances are the way they are because of some decision you made at some time in your life. Decisions are easy to take for granted. I mean we can make a decision that clearly changes an aspect of our lives but then people often believe that they can counteract that decision with another one and then all is as it was. This is logically evident but what if a different decision were made?

If an alternative decision were made then it could have led to another one and another and so on in a different direction until eventually your life is radically different. The reason that many people don't see this is because they only see the result of a decision that has been made, not one that could have been made. There is a whole alternate "reality" if you will, that if you mad that different decision this would be the case but you didn't so it doesn't exist and what doesn't exist is hard to perceive.

We need to pay attention to our decision making processes and work towards better control over them because they will ultimately determine your outcomes and your life. Still not convinced?

Consider a tiny decision you made at some time in your life. This decision must have led to another decision or set of circumstances that could have been different with a different decision. This in turn led to another and another and so. It may be subtle at first like deciding to catch a different bus home after work. If you do this you may meet someone and spark up a conversation, this person recommends a book, six months later you read it, the book inspires you to take further interest in that topic, you get highly involved, you decide to take a home study course on the subject, this leads to a career in this field where you meet the love of your life who prompts you to leave your wife etc etc. You end up with different kids than you would have had, different location, different career etc.

Of that was just an example but do you see how such subtle decisions can determine possibly the rest of your life? The advice here is to decide wisely and weigh up your options when making any decision. Does it align to your values? Does it suit your lifestyle? Is there any reason not to do it? Etc.
