Just mine : Judge me simply by what’s in my heart!

I wish I may, I wish I might have the wish I wish tonight.
I would wish In my dismay that others listen to what I say.
I am someone In my mind with real feelings and thoughts so fine.
But others look and judge my worth, they look at me with glee and mirth.
One so different their eyes do say will never be allowed to play.
So unfair but true in life, their petty thoughts because such strife.
I am me is all I say.
I wake and live every day.
So judge me not by what you see, but by what I can be.
I am a person with feelings true, just as fine as yours to you.
